Rainy day Spring Saturdays call for intimate elopements in Central Park.

Another awesome Australian couple, hailing from Sydney, tied the knot today beneath the pale blue trellises of the Ladies' Pavilion.  The park was mostly empty, aside from a few runners and cyclists, and the overcast skies made the lush greenery pop.

The bride wore a beautiful knitted cream dress and carried peach-colored French tulips.  The groom wore a peach tie to match and a navy suit hand-picked by the bride, complete with shiny black, geometric cufflinks.

During the ceremony, the groom recited the Robert Burn's poem Red, Red Rose to his bride.  They had four of their closest friends as their guests.

It was a romantic and rainy affair! Let's hope they get to enjoy some beautiful NYC spring weather before they head back home across the globe, to Sydney.
